2. Statement of Compliance
FRS 102(1A) - The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (March 2018) and the Companies Act 2006.
3. Accounting policies
Basis of preparation 
The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis and under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of land and buildings and certain financial instruments measured at fair value in accordance with the accounting policies.
Presentation currency 
The financial statements are prepared in sterling which is the functional currency of the company.

Average number of employees including directors during the period

All employee costs and benefits are recognised as expenses within Savemain Pharmacy, the sister company of NR Pharma Ltd. Similarly contributions to defined contribution pension schemes are charged to the income statement in the period they are payable.
