For the year ending 31 October 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Profit and Loss Account.

Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Urban Edit Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 13711772 . The registered office is 27 Lychgate Close, Oakwood, Derbyshire, DE21 2DA.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements are prepared in Sterling (£), which is the functional currency of the company. The financial statements are for the year ended 31 October 2025 (2024: year ended 31 October 2024).
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Section 1A of Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
At the balance sheet date, the company has a net current liability position. At the time of signing these accounts, the director has considered all available information and consider that this does indicate that the company will continue to trade for a period of at least 12 months from the date of signing these accounts.
2.3. Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases:
Plant & Machinery 25% straight line
Fixtures & Fittings 15% straight line
Computer Equipment 20% straight line
2.4. Investment Properties
All investment properties are carried at fair value determined annually and derived from the current market rents and investment property yields for comparable real estate, adjusted if necessary for any difference in the nature, location or condition of the specific asset. No depreciation is provided for. Changes in fair value are recognised in the profit and loss account.
2.5. Stocks and Work in Progress
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value after making due allowance for obsolete and slow-moving stocks. Cost includes all direct costs and an appropriate proportion of fixed and variable overheads. 
2.6. Financial Instruments
The company only enters into basic financial instrument transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities such as trade and other debtors and creditors and loans from banks.
All financial assets and liabilities are initially measured at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost.
Financial assets that are measured at cost and amortised cost are assessed at the end of each reporting period for objective evidence
of impairment. If objective evidence of impairment is found and impairment loss is recognised in the profit and loss account.
