Company activities and impact

At Arrows Basketball Club CIC, our mission is to use basketball as a vehicle for youth development, social inclusion and community wellbeing. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, our club continues to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and families across Sheffield. 1. Engaging Children Through Sport We continued to run weekly basketball sessions for children aged 4 to 11, providing a safe, fun and inclusive introduction to basketball. Throughout the year, young participants developed confidence, coordination, teamwork and a love of being active. 2. Volunteer-Driven Our club continues to be powered entirely by volunteers, from head coaches to young helpers. Young volunteers have supported coaching, photography and officiating, helping them develop valuable life, leadership and practical skills while contributing to the success of the club. 3. Promoting Health and Social Impact Through our basketball sessions and wider community activities, we continue to promote physical activity, social inclusion and positive relationships among children, young people and families.
