Company activities and impact

The activities of the Company revolve around collaboration with members of the LGBTQIA+ community to create photography-based projects with a view to increasing visibility of under represented people. We continually collaborate with LGBTQIA+ community groups and individuals to recruit participants for projects as well as support them with photography services if they need it. This year we have exhibited positive LGBTQIA+ images in the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, at the Embassy of Mexico in the UK (London), in 2 of Google UK’s head quarters buildings and at Plus X Innovation in Brighton. We began an ongoing project ‘UNCUT’ which is a celebration of queer joy and identity, recruited 50+ LGBTQIA+ people to participate for free and will exhibit the work publicly for free in Feb 2026 for LGBT History Month Our website also carries all our exhibitions, past and present, for the public to view free of charge, and also hosts other artists’ work if it fits within our mission to share positive representation of LGBTQIA+ lives.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are participants of and visitors to our projects, exhibitions and website. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, the director of the company has lived experience of this marginalised community that helps inform the projects. Everyone who participates in our projects shares their story to accompany the images that can include why they are participating and what they get from it. We also ask everyone who views the exhibitions in person or online to complete a short feedback questionnaire about the content and if they feel it is fully representative of the LGBTQIA+ community. This, combined with the comments on or through social media, helps us to build up a profile of the community’s needs and what we can do to meet them more effectively.
