Company activities and impact

Move Mojo Group CIC delivers inclusive and adaptive physical activity for people with disabilities, with a focus on SEND children and adults, across the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Leicestershire. During the year the company delivered a Sport England National Lottery funded programme, Inclusive Exercise for SEND in Tamworth, providing regular weekly sessions in adapted sports including fitness, boccia, curling, archery and volleyball for adults with disabilities. Alongside this, the company ran inclusive and adaptive physical activity sessions for SEND children and adults in Tamworth and across Staffordshire, working in partnership with local day centres to reach participants who face barriers to mainstream provision. Supported by grant funding from the Community Foundation for Staffordshire aligned to Better Health Staffordshire, the company delivered inclusive activity sessions and coaching workshops across the West Midlands and Staffordshire, promoting physical literacy and healthier, more active lifestyles. Through UK Shared Prosperity Fund funding from North West Leicestershire District Council, the company extended its reach across Leicestershire, delivering learning-disability sessions for both adults and children and providing inclusivity training for local sports club coaches to build lasting capacity for accessible sport in the district. The impact across these programmes has been to increase participation in sport and physical activity among disabled children and adults, reduce barriers to inclusion, upskill the local coaching workforce, and strengthen partnerships with day centres, community organisations and local authorities to embed inclusive provision across the region.
