Company activities and impact

Lifecare has an established track record of delivering community-led fundraising initiatives in the Greater Manchester area, bringing together local residents, volunteers, and supporters to raise funds for a wide range of charitable causes. These initiatives have supported emergency humanitarian relief, including Bangladesh flood relief, poverty alleviation programmes, and mental health and wellbeing projects aimed at strengthening and supporting the local community. Through a variety of engaging fundraising events, Lifecare has successfully encouraged community participation while raising awareness of important social issues. Activities have included organised mountain climbs, community food festivals, charity challenges, and other public events designed to foster community spirit and maximise fundraising efforts. These initiatives not only generate vital financial support for charitable causes but also promote volunteering, social cohesion, and a culture of giving within the wider community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our key stakeholders are the local community in an around Oldham. The directors of the company have lived in area for a number of years and have garnered a good relationship with locals, so fundraising events are always well attended and supported. We ask attendees and supporters for feedback about our events and this has helped us to continue to improve the fundraising events and build better impactful relationships. We are looking at establishing more structured feedback mechanisms to improve our work.
