Everyone Digital CIC was incorporated on 6 November 2024 to address two closely connected challenges facing communities across the United Kingdom: increasing digital inequality and the growing environmental impact of electronic waste. The company was established as a social enterprise, using commercial Information Technology Asset Disposal (ITAD) services to convert redundant technology into measurable environmental, social and economic value for the benefit of the community. The company's principal activity is the secure collection, transportation, data sanitisation, refurbishment, resale and responsible recycling of redundant information technology equipment on behalf of businesses, public sector organisations, educational establishments and charities. Through accredited data destruction processes and environmentally responsible recycling practices, the company enables organisations to dispose of surplus technology securely while extending the useful life of equipment wherever practicable. Commercial trading provides the financial sustainability required to expand the company's community activities. Rather than distributing profits solely for private benefit, the company reinvests its trading income into developing services, creating employment opportunities and delivering projects that reduce digital inequality and promote environmental sustainability.
The company's principal stakeholders include corporate customers using its IT Asset Disposal services, Every Child Online (its sister charity, Charity No. 1197240), charitable organisations, educational establishments, local authorities, NHS organisations and healthcare professionals, volunteers, work placement students, community organisations, beneficiaries of digital inclusion initiatives, employees and directors. Throughout the reporting period, stakeholder engagement formed an integral part of the company's development. Consultation took place through partnership meetings, operational planning sessions, customer feedback, volunteer discussions, networking events, educational partnerships and collaborative project development involving organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Feedback from corporate customers influenced the development of secure data destruction services, environmental reporting and the company's ability to demonstrate measurable social value alongside commercially competitive IT asset disposal services. This feedback reinforced the importance of providing organisations with an ethical solution that supports both regulatory compliance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives. Engagement with Every Child Online, charities, community organisations and local partners identified increasing demand for practical, community-based digital support. In response, the company commenced development of the Everyone Digital Outreach Hub to provide accessible digital assistance, improve digital participation and work collaboratively with existing community services rather than duplicate them. Consultation with healthcare professionals and NHS Innovation East highlighted the growing impact of digital inequality on access to healthcare, particularly for new parents and vulnerable families. These discussions informed the development of collaborative initiatives aimed at improving access to online healthcare information, appointment systems and wider digital services. Educational providers and work placement organisations provided valuable feedback regarding employability skills, technical training and workplace experience. This influenced the development of structured workplace learning opportunities, enabling participants to gain practical technical experience alongside an understanding of environmental sustainability, responsible recycling and the circular economy. The company values stakeholder engagement as an essential part of its governance and decision-making process and will continue to consult with customers, community organisations, public sector partners and beneficiaries to ensure its activities remain responsive to community needs and continue to deliver measurable public benefit.
The overall total amount of remuneration receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services in the period was £14,380.00.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
