Notes to the Financial Statements

for the Period Ended 31 July 2026

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

Turnover represents net periodic amounts receivable for services and licensing fees provided in the normal course of business, net of trade discounts, VAT, and other sales-related taxes. Revenue is officially recognised by the company at the point the contractually agreed performance obligations are fully satisfied

    Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

Intangible fixed assets are stated at historical cost less accumulated amortisation. Amortisation is calculated on a straight-line basis to write off the cost of the asset over its estimated useful economic life of 10 years. A pro-rata charge of 1 day has been applied for the current period following the acquisition date on 30 July 2026.

    Valuation information and policy

Intangible fixed assets are initially recorded at cost, which represents the transaction value of the assets at the date of acquisition by the company. The director has determined the market value of the asset using a replacement cost approach method, reflecting the estimated engineering expenditure and developer resource costs that a third party would require to reconstruct an enterprise operating framework of equivalent utility at the transaction date. The asset is carried at this transaction cost less accumulated amortisation and is reviewed annually for impairment.
