Year Ending: 31 July 2025

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Nutrition In CIC worked to improve health and wellbeing through nutrition education and community-based health support. This included the Nutrition In Menopause programme at The Holistic House in Skipton, as well as ad hoc nutrition and health education sessions for NHS staff. The company focused on increasing awareness of healthy eating and supporting individuals to understand how nutrition and lifestyle can contribute to their overall health and wellbeing. This was supported through resources developed by Nutrition In CIC, including educational workbooks and booklets, online and face-to-face sessions, and WhatsApp support groups. The company also developed its online presence through social media to increase the accessibility and reach of health and nutrition information within the community. Activities included developing and delivering nutrition and health-related education, providing specialist nutrition support, and developing programmes and resources aimed at supporting the prevention and management of diet-related health conditions. These activities benefited the community by improving access to practical, evidence-based nutrition information and supporting individuals to make informed choices about their diet, lifestyle and long-term health.

Consultation with stakeholders

Nutrition In CIC consulted with stakeholders throughout the reporting period through direct conversations, informal feedback and engagement during programme delivery. Stakeholders included participants attending the Nutrition In Menopause programme, NHS staff, health professionals and individuals accessing our nutrition education and support. Feedback was gathered through face-to-face and online sessions, WhatsApp groups and ongoing communication with participants. This helped us understand the health and nutrition concerns of the people we supported and identify areas where additional information, resources and support were needed. Feedback and engagement with stakeholders informed the development of our educational workbooks and booklets, session content and wider nutrition programmes. It also helped Nutrition In CIC adapt its approach to make nutrition information practical, accessible and relevant to the needs of the communities we serve.

Directors' remuneration

The director received £400 during the reporting period as payment for professional nutrition services delivered on behalf of Nutrition In CIC. The payment related to the delivery of nutrition and health education activities undertaken in furtherance of the CIC's community benefit objectives.
