Company activities and impact

During the financial year, ProudMinds CIC developed and delivered support for LGBTQIA+ people with ADHD. The CIC provided accessible support through ADHD coaching, community meetups and resources. These activities aimed to reduce isolation, increase understanding of ADHD and neurodivergence, improve confidence and provide practical strategies to support wellbeing and daily life. The activities benefited the community by creating inclusive spaces where LGBTQIA+ people could connect with others who shared similar experiences, access information and support, and feel better understood. ProudMinds CIC also worked to improve awareness of the challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ neurodivergent people and promote more inclusive approaches to support. During the year, funding received was used to support the delivery and development of these activities, including staff time, resources, community activity costs, administration and operational costs required to run the CIC. ProudMinds CIC continues to develop its services to increase access to ADHD support, community connection and practical tools for LGBTQIA+ people.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the financial year, ProudMinds CIC consulted with key stakeholders including LGBTQIA+ community members, people accessing support, meetup attendees, coaching participants, and organisations within the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity sectors. Consultation has taken place through conversations during community activities, feedback from participants, informal discussions, and engagement with people involved in ProudMinds activities. Feedback from stakeholders has helped shape the development of ProudMinds CIC’s activities, including the focus on accessible ADHD support, community connection, inclusive spaces, and practical resources. Feedback has informed the development of meetups, coaching approaches and future plans for expanding support. As a newly established CIC with one director, formal stakeholder consultation processes are still developing. ProudMinds CIC is committed to continuing to gather feedback and involve community members in shaping future activities and services.

Directors' remuneration

During the financial year, the director received gross remuneration of £2,700 through PAYE for coaching work undertaken in delivering the activities of ProudMinds CIC. PAYE tax of £540 was deducted through payroll.
