Doulas are trained, relationship-based supporters of the perinatal year and we are an organisation offering accessible care for society's most vulnerable women. We support women who have experienced modern day slavery, sexual and/or domestic violence and abuse, those who are under the age of 20, women who are homeless or living in home office accommodation, such as refugees and asylum seekers. All the women and birthing people we support are living in extreme financial hardship. We have been continuing this vital work across the UK offering support, advocacy and signposting to many vulnerable women during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Our volunteers continue to offer 24/7 on call support for our clients and ensure that they do not spend any time alone during labour and birth. This service benefits each local community as we ensure that the most vulnerable women in financial hardship are supported during a particularly sensitive time. We strive to ensure that our clients are left in a less isolated state, by helping them to connect to their wider community before we sign off. We have continued to expand our departments of language support, therapies and infant feeding support and are finding that these in-house departments offer a unique wraparound service for our clients. We have developed several new in-house trainings to support our 180 volunteers. We have developed new feedback pathways for our clients. We have continued our Mother Tongue training programme, offering vulnerable bi-lingual women free 'doula interpreter' training. The feedback we have received from clients and from referrers has been highly positive.

Feedback has been very positive from our service users this year so there has not been any action taken to change or improve anything as of yet. We have consulted with our funders several times this year, updating them and sharing information between us. We are in continual touch with other organisations which we sometimes partner with, to secure a team of supporters.
