During the financial year, Wolverhampton Wellbeing Hub CIC continued to deliver services and activities aimed at improving the health, wellbeing, and social inclusion of local residents. The organisation provided a range of wellbeing support programmes, community engagement activities, and signposting services designed to help individuals access the support they need to improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. The company worked with individuals and families who may be experiencing social isolation, financial hardship, poor mental health, or other barriers to living healthy and fulfilling lives. Through community-based initiatives, group sessions, one-to-one support, and partnerships with local organisations, the Hub helped residents build confidence, develop resilience, and strengthen connections within their communities. The activities delivered during the year benefited the community by: Improving access to wellbeing information, advice, and support services. Reducing social isolation through inclusive community activities and peer support opportunities. Supporting individuals to improve their mental health, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life. Encouraging healthier lifestyles and positive behavioural change. Connecting residents with local services, voluntary organisations, and community resources. Providing a safe and welcoming environment where people could access support without stigma or discrimination. Strengthening community cohesion by bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and encouraging mutual support. The company’s work has contributed to increased community participation, enhanced wellbeing outcomes, and greater awareness of available support services across Wolverhampton. By responding to local needs and working collaboratively with partners, Wolverhampton Wellbeing Hub CIC has continued to create positive social value and deliver meaningful benefits to the communities it serves. Overall, the organisation has fulfilled its community interest objectives by placing community wellbeing at the heart of its activities and ensuring that any surplus resources are reinvested to further support local people and community development.
During the financial year, Wolverhampton Wellbeing Hub CIC actively engaged with its stakeholders to ensure that the organisation remained responsive to community needs and aligned with its social purpose. Key stakeholder consultations included: Three meetings with Directors and Members were held during the year to review and discuss the organisation's vision and mission statements. These meetings provided an opportunity to reflect on the Hub’s strategic direction, assess community needs, and ensure that the organisation's objectives continued to meet the needs of local people. Monthly meetings with local members were conducted throughout the financial year, resulting in a total of 12 meetings. These sessions enabled members to provide feedback on activities, identify emerging community issues, share ideas for future projects, and contribute to decision-making processes. This regular engagement ensured that the organisation's services were informed by the experiences and needs of those it serves. Bi-monthly community networking meetings were attended with local community groups, NHS partners, and City of Wolverhampton Council leaders. These collaborative meetings strengthened partnerships across the voluntary, community, and health sectors, facilitated the sharing of knowledge and best practice, and helped identify opportunities for joint working to address local wellbeing challenges. The feedback and insights gathered through these consultations have directly informed the development of services, strengthened community partnerships, and helped ensure that Wolverhampton Wellbeing Hub CIC remains focused on delivering activities that provide meaningful benefits to the community. The organisation values stakeholder engagement as a key element of its commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
