The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.

6. Exceptional Items
During the financial year, the company incurred an exceptional loss of £388,000 within administrative expenses. This balance represents capital invested with an unverified third-party trading exchange that subsequently ceased normal operations, resulting in a total loss of the principal. While the directors have instructed legal counsel to investigate options for fund recovery, the likelihood of recovering any asset is currently assessed as remote. Consequently, the full £388,000 has been written off to the profit and loss account in the current period.
