FRS 105 - The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the companies Act 2006 and FRS 105 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime(March 2018)
3. Accounting policies
Basis of preparation 
For the year ending 31 August 2025, the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. 

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
Presentation currency 
The financial statements are prepared in sterling which is the functional currency of the company.

Comparative Figures - year ended 31 August 2024
The comparative figures for the year ended 31 August 2024 have been reclassified to present staff training and employee travel and subsistence costs within staff costs rather than other charges, consistent with the presentation adopted for the year ended 31 August 2025. This reclassification affects presentation only.  No adjustment has been made to the underlying accounting records, and there is no effect on profit before taxation, the tax charge or profit for the year.
