| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| The financial statements are presented in sterling (£), which is the functional currency of the company. |
| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The financial statements contain information about Hive Protect Group Limited as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements. |
| Critical accounting judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty |
| The directors consider that there are no critical judgements or key sources of estimation uncertainty that have a significant risk of causing a material adjustment to the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities within the next financial year. |
| Investments in subsidiaries |
| Investments in subsidiary undertakings are recognised at cost. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |

| 11. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
| During the year, the Company entered into the following transactions with its wholly owned subsidiary, Hive Insurance Services Ltd: |
| Dividends of £350,000 were received from Hive Insurance Services Ltd. |
| Other transactions with the subsidiary totalled £8,739 during the year. |
| At the balance sheet date, the Company owed Hive Insurance Services Ltd £101,186 (2024: £92,447). |
| The balance is unsecured, interest-free and repayable on demand. |
| 12. | POST BALANCE SHEET EVENTS |
| There have been no events after the balance sheet date affecting the Company since the financial period. |
| 13. | ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY |
| There is no single ultimate controlling party, as no individual shareholder or entity has a controlling interest in Hive Protect Group Ltd. |
| 14. | CASH & CASH EQUIVALENTS |
| Cash comprises cash in hand and demand deposits. Cash equivalents are short-term, highly liquid investments that are readily convertible to known amounts of cash and are subject to an insignificant risk of changes in value. |
| Cash and cash equivalents consist solely of balances held in the Company's bank current account. The Company does not hold any short-term investments and does not operate an overdraft facility. |

| The financial statements are presented in Pounds Sterling (£), which is the Company's functional and presentation currency. |

| The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The directors have considered the Company's financial position and are satisfied that it has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. |
