The director considers that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the period in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges her responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The Company's financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the profit and loss account in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

General information

Hoe Park Heights Limited is a company limited by shares incorporated in England within the United Kingdom, having a registration of 16060885. The address of the registered office is Studio 9 50-54 St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, England, B3 1QS. The principal activity of the company in the year under review was that of buying and selling of own real estate and other letting and operating of own or leased real estate

The financial statements are presented in sterling which is functional currency of the company and rounded to the nearest £.

The significant accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below.  These policies have been consistently applied to all years presented unless otherwise stated.

2.Accounting policies

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.

The preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 requires the use of certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires management to exercise judgment in applying the Company's accounting policies.

The following principal accounting policies have been applied:

 
2.2

Going concern

The financial statements has been prepared on a going concern basis which assumes that the company will continue to receive support from creditors and the director as and when required.

 
2.3

Investment property

Investment property is carried at fair value determined annually by external valuers and derived from the current market rents and investment property yields for comparable real estate, adjusted if necessary for any difference in the nature, location or condition of the specific asset. No depreciation is provided. Changes in fair value are recognised in profit or loss.

 
2.4

Cash and cash equivalents

Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty on notice of not more than 24 hours. Cash equivalents are highly liquid investments that mature in no more than three months from the date of acquisition and that are readily convertible to known amounts of cash with insignificant risk of change in value.

 
2.5

Creditors

Short-term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method.

Related party transactions

Baljinder Kaur is the sole director and shareholder of Hoe Park Heights Limited.

During the year, Baljinder Kaur provided loans of £2,402 to the company. At the balance sheet date, the company owed the director £2,402. This is included in other creditors due within one year.

The above balance is payable on demand and therefore there are no significant differences between the value of the original loan amount and the initial carrying value of the loan as shown in the balance sheet.


Baljinder Kaur is also the director and shareholder of Bee UK Properties Limited

During the year, the company received loans of £841,586 from Bee UK Properties Limited. At the balance sheet date, the company owed £841,586 to Bee UK Properties Limited which is shown as other creditors due within one year.

The above balance is payable on demand and therefore there are no significant differences between the value of the original loan amount and the initial carrying value of the loan as shown in the balance sheet.

During the period, the company was under the control of its sole director and shareholder, Baljinder Kaur.
