Company law requires the Director to prepare financial statements for each financial year. 1. General information

Bentalls Property Company Limited is a private company limited by shares and is incorporated in England & Wales. The address of its registered office is 39 Northumberland Street​, Newcastle Upon Tyne​, NE99 1AR.

2. Accounting policies

The principal accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below. These policies have been applied consistently to all periods presented, unless otherwise stated.

a. Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historic cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Section 1A of ​Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland' (FRS 102) and the Companies Act 2006.

The preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 requires the use of certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires management to exercise judgement in applying the Company's​ accounting policies.

The Company's functional and presentational currency is the Pound Sterling.

b. Trade and assets

The Company has not traded or incurred any liabilities on its own behalf during the year or the preceding year and, consequently, has made neither profit nor loss. None of the directors have received any emoluments in respect of their services to the Company.
