People ranging from rough sleepers to those experiencing financial precarity can collect copies of DOPE Magazine for free, sell it for the cover price of £3 and keep the proceeds. This activity is funded by online sales of DOPE Magazine, including subscriptions, and fundraising, including but not limited to individual giving and trusts. DOPE Magazine will make no charge for the issuing of stock to vendors and vendors will keep 100% of their proceeds from sales. In the financial year we printed roughly 160,000 copies of the magazine.
The company’s stakeholders are the vendors of the newspaper and we take informal feedback from them constantly. We also interview a vendor about their experiences of selling the newspaper and feature that in the publication. In response to this consultation, we have made efforts to include a greater input in the publication from vendors, and have more content related to homeless issues.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
