Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2026 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

Company activities and impact

Dance Awards Ireland is currently in a development and transition stage. During the financial year, activities under the Dance Awards Ireland name were operated through Dance Associate Ltd, a separate not-for-profit organisation, while Dance Awards Ireland (ROI/IE) CIC remained dormant. The Dance Awards Ireland initiative supports the dance community across Ireland by recognising achievement and contribution within the dance sector, creating opportunities for dancers and dance professionals, and promoting the development and visibility of dance. It is intended that Dance Awards Ireland (ROI/IE) CIC will operate as a separate entity in the future. During this financial year, the CIC did not trade and did not have its own bank account.
