COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

WE NPOWER CIC

Year Ending: 30 November 2025

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Wenpower CIC delivered a range of trauma-informed coaching, therapeutic support, leadership development, cultural awareness and community wellbeing programmes designed to improve individual wellbeing, strengthen communities and promote inclusion. The organisation worked with individuals, community groups, charities, educational establishments and public sector organisations to provide practical support, training and facilitated discussions on topics including mental health, trauma, equality, diversity, inclusion, cultural competence and inclusive leadership. Our activities particularly benefited people experiencing social disadvantage, cultural barriers, trauma and emotional wellbeing challenges by providing safe spaces to build confidence, resilience and personal growth. Participants reported improved emotional wellbeing, greater self-confidence, stronger cross-cultural understanding and clearer personal direction through structured coaching, workshops and therapeutic interventions. During the year, Wenpower delivered programmes across community centres, schools, universities and online platforms throughout Wales, supporting an estimated 150–180 people through group workshops, training and community engagement activities, with more some individuals receiving specialist trauma-informed coaching and therapeutic support. Community events also promoted inclusion, community cohesion and intercultural understanding.

Consultation with stakeholders

Yes. Throughout the financial year, Wenpower CIC engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including community members, service users, community organisations, schools, collaborators and participants attending our coaching, training and wellbeing programmes. Stakeholders were consulted through post-session evaluation, reflective discussions, follow-up conversations and ongoing partnership meetings. This feedback enabled the organisation to assess the effectiveness of its programmes, identify emerging community needs and inform future service development. Feedback consistently highlighted positive outcomes in emotional wellbeing, confidence, inclusion and cross-cultural understanding. In response, Wenpower continued to strengthen its trauma-informed approach, expanded its focus on community wellbeing and leadership development, and refined its funding applications and programme design to better reflect community needs and improve long-term sustainability. The organisation also committed to enhancing its monitoring and evaluation processes, strengthening strategic partnerships and improving digital engagement to increase its reach and impact. This ongoing consultation ensures that Wenpower's activities remain community-led, responsive and aligned with its mission of promoting wellbeing, inclusion and community empowerment.
