    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable and represents amounts receivable for goods and services provided in the normal course of business, net of discounts, VAT and other sales-related taxes.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Fixed assets are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of each asset over its expected useful life.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, The Whole Hub Community Interest Company continued to establish itself as an organisation dedicated to improving opportunities for children, young people and families. The company's activities during the period included: - Providing educational support and tuition. - Developing community, social and educational resources. - Creating systems and resources to enable future projects that will benefit the wider community. - Establishing the operational and financial foundations of the organisation. As this was the company's first active trading period, significant time was devoted to developing the organisation and preparing resources to support future community activities. The company's primary purpose is to advance community support, advocacy and education for the benefit of the community. During the reporting period, community benefit was provided through: - Supporting learners with educational activities and tuition. - Developing resources designed to improve outcomes. - Providing accessible support for children and families. - Building resources and infrastructure that will enable the company to expand its impact in future years.
