| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents the fair value of consideration receivable for services provided during the year, net of VAT. |
| Income from grant management subscription services is recognised over the period in which the related services are provided. |
| Income from consultancy and grant application services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the engagement at the balance sheet date, reflecting the proportion of work performed. Amounts received in advance of performance are recognised as deferred income until the relevant services have been delivered. |
