Basis of preparation of financial statements
|
These financial statements are prepared on a going concern basis and under the historical cost convention. They are presented in pounds sterling and rounded to the nearest pound.
The company meets its working capital requirements through its operating cash flows, with the support of its ultimate parent company Svella Plc.
With continued support of its parent company, the company will maintain sufficient financial headroom and cash reserves to enable it to continue meeting its liabilities as they fall due in the normal course of business, for at least the next twelve months following approval of these financial statements.
Notwithstanding net current liabilities of £194,729 and net liabilities of £92,629 at the balance sheet date, after making enquiries, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.
Tax is recognised in profit or loss except that a charge attributable to an item of income and expense recognised as other comprehensive income or to an item recognised directly in equity is also recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.
The current income tax charge is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date in the countries where the company operates and generates income.
