NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2026
| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Randall & Phillips LLP is registered in England and Wales. The LLP's registered number and registered office address can be found on the General Information page.
| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements
Judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty
The preparation of the financial statements requires management to make judgements, estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported. These estimates and judgements are continually reviewed and are based on experience and other factors, including expectations of future events that are believed to be reasonable under the circumstances.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Tangible fixed assets
| Plant and machinery etc | - |
Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease.
Revenue recognition
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for goods supplied and
services rendered, net of discounts and Value Added Tax.
Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership have
transferred to the buyer (usually on despatch of the goods); the amount of revenue can be measured reliably; it is probable that the associated economic benefits will flow to the entity; and the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transactions can be measured reliably.
Revenue from the rendering of services is measured by reference to the stage of completion of the service
transaction at the end of the reporting period provided that the outcome can be reliably estimated. When the
outcome cannot be reliably estimated, revenue is recognised only to the extent that expenses recognised are recoverable.
Members' participation rights
Members are permitted to make drawings in anticipation of profits which will be allocated to them. The
amount of such drawings is agreed by the partners taking into account the anticipated cash and capital needs of the LLP.

| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued |
Judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty
In the application of the limited liability partnership's accounting policies, the members are required to make
judgements, estimates and assumptions about the carrying amount of assets and liabilities that are not readily
apparent from other sources. The estimates and associated assumptions are based on historical experience and other factors that are considered to be relevant. Actual results may differ from these estimates.
The estimates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to accounting
estimates are recognised in the period in which the estimate is revised where the revision affects only that
period, or in the period of the revision and future periods where the revision affects both current and future
periods.
