  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods and services, excluding value added tax (VAT) and trade discounts, and is recognized when the risks and rewards of ownership transfer to the customer.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are stated at historical cost less accumulated depreciation. Cost includes the original purchase price plus any direct costs of bringing the asset to its working condition. Items with a total cost of less than £1,000 are written off to the profit and loss account in the year of purchase.Depreciation is calculated to write off the cost of tangible fixed assets down to their estimated residual value over their expected useful economic lives, using the straight-line method at the following annual rates:

    Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

    Intangible assets with finite lives are amortised on a straight-line basis over their estimated useful lives. The amortisation charge for each period is recognised in the profit and loss account.

    Valuation information and policy

    The purpose of this Valuation Information Policy ("Policy") is to establish a rigorous, transparent, and consistent framework for determining, verifying, and reporting the financial value of all assets held by the Company. Inventory: Raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and spare parts/maintenance supplies.Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E): Manufacturing facilities, production lines, heavy machinery, specialized tooling, vehicles, and auxiliary equipment.Intangible Assets: Patents, proprietary manufacturing processes, designs, software licenses, and goodwill
