Adowa Dancers UK has served the community by uniting people through culture. The traditional dance troupe has performed at weddings, birthday events, funerals and cultural celebrations. Providing traditional Ghanaian dance workshops and lessons, 1-1 and to small groups. Adowa dancers unifies varied demographics and promotes social inclusion, through the initiation of cultural displays and practices. Younger generations are presented with opportunity to connect with other existing cultural identities and older generations within the diaspora maintain connections to their culture whilst they exist in the UK community. Cultural services attract Ghanaian diasporans fostering a their transnational identities. It also aids in communal unity by introducing the culture to the diverse wider society. Additionally, adowa Dancers UK fuels a vibrant aspect of the community by hiring and training new dancers.
