Treehouse Wellbeing and Creativity is a hub of holistic and therapeutic support to people of all ages across Leicester, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. We have spent the last year consolidating the work we did last year. We now have 5 therapy rooms- two for play therapy, one sensory movement room which is incredibly well used by nearly all the children and young people we see. moved in February 2023 to a new building with more space to grow, one larger therapy space for family sessions such as Theraplay or DDP as well as our existing talking therapy room. to furnish this room with funds we had raised and a grant. During this financial period, Treehouse has served the community in a number of ways. We have continued to grow and become well known in our local area. Our low cost therapy service, which is at the heart of treehouse has supported nearly 30 families. We have also offered monthly free parent workshops which have been well attended. These focus on offering parents the support they need when they need it most. We were able to run these for free thanks to the way our CIC works- putting back all the money we make through fundraising and grants to support our local community. During this financial year we have continued to grow and now have 10 therapists and counsellors working at Treehouse. We are also still working with 2 local agencies who are using our rooms in order to serve the local community with their own specialist therapeutic and support services such as theraplay and talking counselling for women who have experienced childhood abuse. As with the previous year, we continue work with families who have been referred from other agencies such as the Leicestershire family wellbeing service. They will frequently refer families to our low cost and free services such as therapy and parent workshops. Schools from the local area continue use our services to support their families that are in need. We have attended their parent support meetings and talked about our services. We continue to raise awareness of the CIC through a number of different events; we held a Christmas fundraiser in December 2024 to which we invited a number of different crafters. We have been partnered with the local “Inner Wheel” group (linked to the local Rotary Club, who have tirelessly fundraised for us. We also held a big fundraising walk of 26 miles around the local area raising £1300. Our social media and website are up and running and constantly updated with our offer to the community. We have a volunteer who runs these for us. During the end of this period, due to the workload and extra responsibilities the directors had with their own work, we asked a member of our team if she would like to become a 4th director, Lauren joined us as a director on 7th October 2025. The admin for the CIC is split between the four directors.
No consultation with stakeholders
As part of the administration costs, the founr directors will invoice the company with the work that they have carried out. These are detailed in the accounts provided.
