Arising Tutoring CIC continued to provide educational support to children and young people during the financial year, with a focus on supporting their academic development, confidence and future progression. During the year, we provided targeted tuition and academic support, including GCSE and A-level intervention sessions. Support was tailored to pupils’ individual needs, with the aim of improving attainment, building confidence and supporting preparation for examinations. We also provided careers guidance to help young people explore their future options and make informed decisions about further education, training and employment. Volunteer tutors continued to support the delivery of our programmes and were provided with training and guidance to assist them in their roles. Volunteers contributed their time, knowledge and skills to supporting children and young people, with expenses reimbursed and refreshments provided to support them while volunteering. Through these activities, Arising Tutoring CIC continued to support children and young people with their education, confidence and future aspirations.
Arising Tutoring CIC’s stakeholders included children and young people accessing our services, their parents and carers, volunteer tutors, local schools, community organisations and other organisations involved in supporting young people. During the financial year, pupil and parental feedback surveys were used to gather views on the quality and impact of our educational provision. Feedback helped us identify areas where pupils required further support and informed the development and delivery of our academic and wider support. Alongside this feedback, we continued to engage with local schools and organisations supporting children and young people to help ensure that our provision remained responsive to their needs. Volunteer tutors also undertook CPD and training to support good practice and maintain appropriate standards when working with children and young people. Arising Tutoring CIC also participated in an annual quality review conducted by Enfield Council as part of our approach to safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
