Company activities and impact

During the financial year ended 30 November 2024, the company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Local residents have been supported through business support services that help individuals and small groups develop skills, access advice, and pursue opportunities that strengthen local economic participation and self-reliance. Cultural education activities have promoted understanding, skills development, and community connection, particularly benefiting people interested in or connected to cultural learning and community development in the Streatham/Lambeth area. The company has created opportunities for local involvement and capacity-building that contribute to community wellbeing and inclusion. By operating as a CIC, any surplus is applied for community benefit rather than private profit, supporting the wider public interest in the area it serves.

Consultation with stakeholders

The directors live or work in the local area and developed the company’s activities based on their knowledge of community needs, including the value of cultural education and practical business support for residents. We consult stakeholders through informal discussions, feedback from people taking part in activities, and ongoing conversations with community members about the kinds of cultural learning and business support that would be most useful. Ideas and suggestions from participants and local contacts help shape the focus of our services so they remain relevant to the community we serve.
