Mayfield Climate Action is a community based group consisting of 15 volunteers. It was established in 2024. The company has benefited to community in the following ways: 1. Bringing the community of Mayfield together to look at Mayfield carbon footprint. 2. Screening The National Emergency Film 3 times this year. 3. Giving the community effective ways that they can individually reduce their Carbon footprint. 4. Educating the community through talks about ecology, reduction in carbon footprint, waste management, biodiversity, litter picking. 5. Bringing a group of volunteers to measure the levels of toxicity, effluence and biodiversity in the River Rother.
The companies stakeholders are the residents and visitors of Mayfield. The local producers of food and drink in the surround area. In 2025 we asked resident the residents of mayfield to rate their priorities in terms of the environment, which helped to expand the number people in the village that are thinking about changing their behaviours to enact a reduction in their carbon footprint. We now have a monthly meeting with residents and we hope to continue to expand on the number of residents for the group and continue to gain their thoughts about the local environment and the carbon footprint,
