Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 7 December 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Company activities and impact

Since the establishment of the Filipinos in Care CIC in November 2023, we have organised community activities that benefits the care professionals and raise awareness of our advocacies. -The first activity was a webinar organised to raise awareness about ethical recruitment in social care held virtually in February 17, 2024. This was attended by 50 professionals accross social care sector who are interested in understanding the current changes in the overseas recruitment legislation, ethical recruitment practice, immigrant workers rights and employer's responbilities as per the guidance of the Embassy of the Philippines to United Kingdom. -The next one was our launch event in April 26, 2024 held in Holiday Inn, Kensington, London. We had 100 delegates for this event. This was to raise awareness of our group and the activities we lined up for the year to support Filipino workers within social care. This event was attended by supporters from the Department of Health and Social Care, Skills for Care, tradeunion, nursing profession associations, Florence Nightigale Foundation, Nursing and Midwifery Council and Philippine Embassy in United Kingdom. -Furthermore, on 8th June 2024, we held a registered manager's networking event in Maidenhead to build links and network among key people within the care home community. The event was attended by at least 40 registered managers and senior Filipino leaders in the core group. This activity also established the first manager's core group for Filipinos in Care CIC. -Continuing this networking engagement to raise awareness of the profile of the group, we attended the Filipino Barrio Fiesta in Luton and Scotland to introduce Filipinos in Care to the wider Filipino community. -In July 7, 2024, we organised the Filipino Healthcare Workers Summit in Maidenhead attended by at least 70 professionals and care workers. The topics discussed in this summit included race equality from the UNISON, immigration updates from the Lawyery and introduction of Filipinos in Care and career journey from our founder. -Subsequently, in 23rdJuly 2024, we organised another virtual webinar regarding the SIFE pathways for aspiring nurses with speakers from the OET and Nursing and Midwifery Council. This was attended by at least 42 professionals who are interested in the topics of the new pathways in satisfying the registration to be a qualified nurse in the UK. -To further our reach, the founder and directors attended key events organised by the Philippine Embassy and Filipino communities such as Migrant Worker's Day, Philippine Embassy's celebration day for nurses, Philipines Nurses Association launch in Wales. -The remaining months following summer were utilised to prepare the group's biggest event, the 1st Filipinos in Care Charity and Awards Gala in December 2024.
