Company activities and impact

The company has had many groups of children and adults with special needs come to the farm and work alongside the animals which we absolutely love and is a very special part of Happily Ever After and a big part of working within our local community with local people. We have had students come weekly for work experience and animal therapy from two local colleges and several of our local schools. We have invited school groups as well as Guides and Brownies to come and see the animals and learn about how to care for them and how to care for wildlife. We had an open event for the whole community to get together and help raise money for the animals which was a huge success and so we are doing this again this year. We have taken in many new rescues mostly comprising of wildlife which has been found locally and brought in by the public. We have had donations come in to help care for the animals as well as fund raising and we have had a lot of help from Unicorn Alpacas who have donated and helped us pay for the feed bills.
