Trustees' Report
The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Objectives and Activities
Aims and Objectives
The Charity’s objectives and principal activities are:
(a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Belief, included in its Memorandum and Articles of Association, in London and in such other parts of the United Kingdom  or the world as the directors of the Charity (‘’The Trustees’’) may from time to time think fit and to  fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales  and are connected with the charitable work of the Charity and
(b) to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the  distress caused thereby in London and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the  trustees may from time to time think fit.
CICC is committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and become part of our  parish community. We maintain an overview of worship throughout the parish and make suggestions on how our  services can involve the many groups that live within our parish. Our services and worship put faith into practice  through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament. The name of the Church was changed on 19 July 2020 from  Mauritian Christian Church to Christ International Christian Church. Since the church is open to all people  from different cultures and nationalities, it was felt that the original name did not represent the full objectives  and commitments of the church hence the change of the name.
When we plan our activities for the year, we have considered the Commission’s guidance on public benefit and in  particular the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. In particular we enable ordinary  people to live out their faith as part of our parish community through worship and prayer and provision of pastoral care for people living in the Parish.
Achievements and Performance
Main Achievements
CICC is keen to offer a range of services including evening prayers and bible studies, during the year which  our community find both beneficial and spiritually fulfilling.
Over the years the church has been successful in welcoming more families into our church and conducted more baptismal and marriage ceremonies. This year due to Covid lockdown, the church was closed for most part of the year. Prayers and worships were carried out online during these times.
The results for the period are set out fully in the financial statements and reflect the continuing investment  that we are making in terms of not only facilities but commitments in developing the activities of the Charity  to ensure its future success.
Unrestricted donations including gift aid amounted to (£260) and the Board is most grateful and thanks to donors for their full support. Overall the net result for the year was an excess of expenditure over income of  £5,146. The company has started renting the property during the year and earning rental income for the  charity.
CICC has been planning for the past few years to purchase Church premises. Although it hasn’t been possible  to purchase a church building, the charity manged to buy a property in the past year that has been  customised to fulfil the needs to carry out all religious duties for the foreseeable future.
Financial Review

Page 2
Reserves Policy
The Charity’s intention is that there is sufficient free reserve to ensure that it can continue to meet  fluctuations in receipts or payments, meet its short and long term liabilities. The Board assesses the Charity’s  medium term cash flow and thereby its requirements for free income reserves on a regular basis during the  period.
The unrestricted funds of the Charity are principally invested in the working capital that is used to provide  services in accordance with the objectives of the Charity.
The Charity has £204,496 of reserves at 31 December 2025 and the Trustees are comfortable with this level of  reserves.
Going Concern
Plans for future Periods
The Charity is aiming to expand its activities to reach people in different areas. The new property has enabled the church, to provide a more stable environment and additional facilities for its members. The acquisition was  funded from donations accumulated over past years. As the number of worshipers and the need for the church grows it is the Church’s intention to buy a bigger place in the future.

The trustees (who are also the directors of Christ International Christian Church Ltd for the purposes of company law) are responsible for preparing the Trustees' Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under company law the trustees must not approve the financial statement unless they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including the income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that period. In preparing the financial statements the trustees are required to:
  • select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
  • observe the methods and principles in the Charity SORP;
  • make judgments and accounting estimates that are reasonable and prudent; and
  • prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at anytime the financial position of the charitable company and to enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe:
  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Company as required by section 386 of the 2006 Act; or
  2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or
  3. the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of section 396 of the 2006 Act other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view' which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or
  4. the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice for accounting and reporting by charities applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102).
