For the year ending 31 March 2026 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation
Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives:

Intangible fixed assets (including purchased goodwill and patents) are included at cost less accumulated amortisation.
The company achieved significant progress during FY26 increasing sales by 20%. The order book also increased on the back of a 17% rise in order input. The healthy order book will help to support the planned increase in revenue during FY27 with 64% of sales forecast revenue already booked for shipping. We successful passed an initial AS9100 Audit. Export orders grew to 36% of total revenue. We employed four additional aerospace professionals with Part 21 experience in the business including Jenny Jones as Managing Director, a Supply Chain Manager, a Quality Manager and a Production Manager.
The Vertical Aerospace VX4 prototype aircraft flew and achieved the second two-way piloted transition globally. Another eVTOL platform received delivery of product for their aircraft testing and planned production increase. Olsen successfully won two Space Launch Vehicle OEMs and one new aircraft flight test platform successfully proving swash plate and fenestron EMA (electro-mechanical actuator and control package). We also continued to successfully design, qualify and deliver three subsea applications.
We expanded the production area to 5,000 sqft and refurbished the office moving design and engineering upstairs to an additional 5,000 sqft. Head count rose to 36 people. Investment into the production area allows 10 dedicated standardised workstations plus an additional electronics anti-static area giving the facility a total production capacity of around 5000 actuators per year with dedicated R&D and testing area combined with a secure location inventory stores. We selected an implemented a new MRP live from April 1st 2026 allowing production to be better controlled and scalable. We attended several exhibitions including SpaceComm London, Paris Air Show, DSEI London and SpaceTech Bremen. We continue to focus new business development on Aerospace, Defence and Space markets with Industrial as the base. We registered a local branch Olsen Actuators & Drives LLC in Florida to support the planned expansion into North America markets.
