2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the requirements and the Companies Act 2006. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The company's functional and presentational currency is GBP, rounded to the nearest £1.

The following principal accounting policies have been applied:

2.2

Going concern

The company shows net liabilities at the reporting date of £69,053, (2024:£46,209). The company has received formal confirmation from its immediate parent, Shenzhen Qianhai Orange Magic Cube Information Technology Co., Ltd, that the company will receive the financial support it requires to enable it to meet its liabilities as they fall due.
Existing funding facilities, forecasts and projections indicate that the company has adequate resources to continue with some level of activity from a minimal to full levels.
After reviewing the company's forecasts and projections, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The company therefore continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing its financial statements, but with the provison that a material uncertainty exists over the company’s future.
In making their assessment of going concern, the director has considered information for a period of at least twelve months from the date the financial statements were authorised for issue.

2.Accounting policies (continued)

2.4

Operating leases: the Company as lessee

Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight-line basis over the lease term.

Benefits received and receivable as an incentive to sign an operating lease are recognised on a straight-line basis over the lease term, unless another systematic basis is representative of the time pattern of the lessee's benefit from the use of the leased asset.

2.5

Tangible fixed assets

Tangible fixed assets under the cost model are stated at historical cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Historical cost includes expenditure that is directly attributable to bringing the asset to the location and condition necessary for it to be capable of operating in the manner intended by management.

Depreciation is charged so as to allocate the cost of assets less their residual value over their estimated useful lives, on a reducing balance basis.

Depreciation is provided on the following basis:

Computer equipment
-
15%
Reducing balance basis

The assets' residual values, useful lives and depreciation methods are reviewed, and adjusted prospectively if appropriate, or if there is an indication of a significant change since the last reporting date.

Gains and losses on disposals are determined by comparing the proceeds with the carrying amount and are recognised in profit or loss.

2.6

Debtors

Short-term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment.

2.7

Cash and cash equivalents

Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty on notice of not more than 24 hours.

2.8

Creditors

Short-term creditors are measured at the transaction price.

Judgments in applying accounting policies and key sources of estimation uncertainty

In the application of the Company’s accounting policies, which are described above, Directors are
required to make judgements, estimates and assumptions about the carrying values of assets and
liabilities that are not readily apparent from other sources. The estimates and underlying assumptions
are based on historical experience and other factors that are considered to be relevant. Actual results
may differ from these estimates.

The estimates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an on-going basis. Revisions to accounting estimates are recognised in the period in which the estimate is revised if the revision affects only that period, or in the period of the revision and future periods if the revision affects the
current and future periods.

No assumptions concerning the future or estimation uncertainty affecting assets and liabilities at the balance sheet date are likely to result in a material adjustment to their carrying amounts in the next financial year.
