The company have increased the number of people coming to rehearsal and incorporated many different nationalities to generate greater cultural awareness and integration, including musicians, singers, therapists, actors, dancers, poets of all ages from 20s to 80s and from a wide range of countries such as Japan, Spain, Poland, Greece, India, Czechia, Hong Kong as well as the UK. The principal of inclusivity has encouraged great sharing and cross-fertilisation of ideas across the arts and many have gone on to be involved in other projects outside of SpiralArts, as well as creating a local performance. Feedback was helpful in developing the company's approach to working and generating collaborations.
The company stakeholders are members of the creative arts community including musicians (professional and students), a choir master, music therapists and street artists. They have worked together with the directors and used the new skills and awareness around integrating arts and cultures to enhance their performances and work with other groups. There has been an open rehearsal session with members of the public participating, contributing and offering feedback. This has strengthened ways of working together and expanded the network of participants, helping the CIC to become better known. The feedback has been very positive for members of the company with, for example, one returning to college to complete an MA integrating music and movement and another becoming involved in setting up their own CIC while still working with SpiralArts.
