for the Period Ended 31 December 2025

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

Turnover represents amounts receivable for accommodation and for software and digital products, stated net of commission deducted at source by the booking platforms and payment processors, and net of guest refunds.

    Valuation information and policy

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The accounts are presented in £ sterling. Balances held in foreign currencies are translated at the rate ruling at the balance sheet date.

    Other accounting policies

Going concern - As set out in the Director's Report, the accounts are prepared on the going concern basis, which depends on the continuing support of the director. Changes in accounting policies - The principal accounting policies adopted have remained unchanged from the previous year, except as described below. Prior period adjustment - The accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, as filed, stated called up share capital of £100,000 and cash at bank and in hand of £101,849. Neither figure was correct. The company's issued share capital is £100, and cash held across the company's three bank accounts at 31 December 2024 was £1,905, as verified against bank statements. The comparative figures have been restated accordingly. The effect is to reduce called up share capital by £99,900 and cash at bank by £99,944 as at 31 December 2024, and to reduce the director's loan creditor by £44. There is no effect on the reported result for any period; the loss for the year ended 31 December 2024 remains £5,139 and the profit and loss reserve brought forward remains £(6,993).
