The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Section 1A of FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and the Companies Act 2006.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
The company made a loss of £205,521 for the year (2024: loss of £12,688) and at 31 August 2025 had net liabilities of £218,208 (2024: net liabilities of £12,687).
The company is financed by a loan from the director of £197,255 and by a balance of £40,728 owed to Saiga Property Ltd, a company under common control. Both parties have confirmed in writing that they will not seek repayment of those amounts for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of these accounts, and that they will continue to provide such financial support as the company requires to meet its liabilities as they fall due over that period.
On that basis the director considers it appropriate to prepare the accounts on the going concern basis. The accounts do not include any adjustments that would result if that support were withdrawn.
Inventories are stated at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell. Cost comprises purchase price and the costs of bringing the goods to their present location and condition, determined on a first in, first out basis. Provision is made for slow-moving and obsolete items where the estimated selling price less costs to sell is below cost.
Cost of sales comprises the cost of goods sold, marketplace and payment processing fees, marketplace advertising, fulfilment, carriage and packaging costs, and the labour costs of picking, packing and despatch.
