Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Arise Fellowship Christian Church in Croydon has continued to serve the community through a wide range of spiritual, social, and cultural activities. The church has held regular Sunday services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies, which have helped members strengthen their faith and foster supportive relationships. In addition to worship, the church has made a significant contribution to community life by celebrating every UK holiday and national event. These gatherings have provided an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, build friendships, and promote unity and cultural awareness. Events such as Easter, Christmas, Remembrance Day, and other national celebrations were marked with services, communal meals, and activities designed to bring joy and belonging to the wider community. Arise Fellowship has also placed a strong emphasis on practical support. Initiatives such as food and clothing donations have provided relief to individuals and families in need, while pastoral care and counselling have offered encouragement during times of personal difficulty. In addition, the church introduced community hair braiding sessions, creating a safe and uplifting environment where people could connect, learn, and celebrate cultural heritage while also boosting confidence and wellbeing. Through this holistic approach meeting both spiritual and practical needs Arise Fellowship Christian Church has positively impacted Croydon by promoting inclusion, supporting vulnerable individuals, and strengthening community bonds.
