During the financial year, Safe Homes (Yorkshire) CIC provided accommodation and practical support to a woman who had survived domestic abuse. The support provided helped her access safe housing, maintain stability, and begin rebuilding her life following the impact of abuse. In addition to accommodation, the CIC offered housing-related support and signposted the beneficiary to appropriate support services, helping to reduce the risk of homelessness and promote independence and wellbeing. The company's activities benefited the community by providing a safe and supportive environment for a survivor of domestic abuse, reducing the social and personal impacts of abuse and helping an individual at a point of significant transition to move forward in a positive and sustainable way. Any surplus generated by the company continues to be retained for the purpose of advancing the company's community benefit objectives and supporting future beneficiaries.
