Delivered the Entrepreneur Pathways Lab, supporting ethnic minority women, refugees, and migrants to develop and launch businesses through training, mentoring, and incubation support. Delivered health and wellbeing programs, including breast cancer awareness initiatives, arts and wellbeing activities such as handmade skills learning, and tailored support for people with learning disabilities and unpaid carers. Delivered youth and digital inclusion activities, including coding and STEM learning opportunities. Organized workshops, community events, and awareness campaigns in partnership with local and national organizations. Conducted research, monitoring, and evaluation activities with academic and community partners to measure impact and inform practice. Supported volunteers and community leaders through training and capacity-building opportunities. Collaborated with universities, charities, and public sector organizations to deliver inclusive and community-led initiatives. Received national recognition, winning the 2025 Scottish Charity Awards (Climate Impact category).
The Company’s principal stakeholders include: Women, families, and individuals experiencing social or economic disadvantage. Refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and members of ethnic minority communities. Volunteers, community leaders, and young people participating in the Company’s activities. Partner organisations across the third sector, education, health, and research sectors. Local authorities, funding bodies, community centres, and other public and community stakeholders. Consultation and Actions Taken: Stakeholder consultation has been undertaken through participant feedback forms, workshops, community engagement activities, meetings with partners and funders, and ongoing informal discussions with beneficiaries and volunteers. Feedback received highlighted the need for flexible delivery, tailored support, greater opportunities for peer learning, and stronger pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. In response, the company adapted programme schedules to accommodate participants’ caring and family responsibilities, expanded one-to-one support and mentoring, strengthened partnership working, and incorporated participant feedback into the design and delivery of its projects and services. The company remains committed to engaging stakeholders and using feedback to continuously improve its activities and maximise its social impact.
