COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

VISUAL K PRODUCTIONS CIC

Company Number: SC852570 (Scotland)

Year Ending: 30 June 2026

Company activities and impact

During this accounting period, VISUAL K PRODUCTIONS CIC was in its initial establishment and developmental phase. Key activities focused on setting up organisational infrastructure, identifying community needs, and applying for grant funding to launch our primary initiatives. We conducted preliminary consultations with potential beneficiaries and local stakeholders to refine our proposed services. These foundational activities ensure the CIC is fully prepared to deliver direct benefit to the wider community in Aberdeen and beyond in the upcoming financial period.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our Stakeholders: Our primary stakeholders include local artists local community partner organisations, and potential grant funders. How We Consulted Them: During this initial setup period, we engaged with stakeholders through informal discussions / needs-assessment surveys / direct meetings with community leaders to evaluate local demand and identify key gaps in existing support services. Action Taken in Response: Based on stakeholder feedback emphasising a strong demand for accessible workshops, practical experience and a virtual production suite, we tailored our initial grant applications and project designs to directly focus on these prioritised needs for our upcoming launch phase. Artists help shape the platform. Through consultations, feedback, and collaborative project design, participants influence the content, workflow, and outputs of their projects. This approach ensures our work reflects the real needs, ambitions, and creative visions of the community. Participation is really open to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Through modern tools like Teams or Zoom, mentoring sessions and workshops can be accessed locally or internationally, ensuring that anyone with the desire to learn can gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills beyond what a standard curriculum offers across the globe. At VISUAL K PRODUCTIONS, if you are willing to learn, our door is always open.
