During the financial year, Altrincham Festival continued to benefit the local community by organising and supporting an inclusive community festival for residents of Altrincham and the surrounding area. The festival provides opportunities for local community groups, charities, schools, performers, traders and other organisations to participate, promote their activities and engage with the wider community. The Festival’s activities help to bring people together, encourage community participation and volunteering, support local organisations and businesses, and provide accessible entertainment and activities for people of different ages and backgrounds. Any surplus generated from the company’s activities is retained and used to support the continuation and development of the festival and its community-focused activities rather than being distributed for private benefit.
Altrincham Festival regularly consults with its stakeholders to help inform the planning and development of the Festival. Following the event, online feedback forms are made available to members of the local community, suppliers and stallholders, providing an opportunity to comment on their experience and suggest improvements. Feedback received is reviewed by the Festival committee and considered as part of the planning process for future events. Regular committee meetings are also held to discuss feedback, assess what worked well and identify areas for improvement. These meetings provide an opportunity to consider new ideas and potential future directions for the Festival, helping to ensure that its activities continue to reflect the needs and interests of the local community and other stakeholders.
