Balance sheet statements

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Revenue represents the amount of lease income due for the period under the terms of the operating license.

3. Fixed assets investments note

Investment property comprises property on which the Company charges a licence fee for occupation, namely the Howard Stand at Headingley Cricket Ground. The Company has a finance lease on the property until 31 August 2059 and the valuation is based on the outstanding capital element of the finance. The movement in fair value is deemed to be the reduction in capital outstanding on the finance lease during the year on the basis that the property has no residual value at the end of the lease.
