The financial statements have been prepared using the accounting records and other financial information available to the directors at the date of preparation. The directors acknowledge that, in certain areas, the underlying accounting records and supporting documentation were incomplete.
Where complete records were not available, the directors have used their best judgement, together with the information available to them, to determine the amounts recognised in these financial statements. This has included, where appropriate, the use of estimates, reconciliations, available third-party information and other reasonable assumptions.
The directors consider that the resulting estimates and judgements provide a reasonable basis for the preparation of the financial statements. However, due to the limitations in the underlying records, there is a greater degree of estimation uncertainty in respect of the affected balances and transactions than would otherwise be the case.
