Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
THSG Property Limited is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 15300307 . The registered office and principal place of business is 6 Springfield Road, Holcombe Brooke, Bury, BL0 9SU.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
Reporting period
The comparative period of these financial statements is for a total of 12 months and 7 days. The reason for this is because the company was incorporated on 21st November 2023. This therefore means that the financial statements, including related notes, are not entirely comparable with the prior period financial statements.
2.2. Turnover
Turnover consists of rental income, which is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable and is presented net of any rent-free  periods or lease incentives.
This rental income from operating leases (net of any incentives given to the lessee), is recognised on a straight line basis over the term of the lease. Where rental income is received in advance or in arrears, appropriate accruals or deferrals are made at the reporting date to reflect the income earned for the period.
2.3. Investment Properties
Investment property, which is property held to earn rentals and/or for capital appreciation, is initially recognised at cost, which includes the purchase cost and any directly attributable expenditure. Subsequently it is measured at fair value at the reporting end date. Changes in fair value are recognised in profit and loss account.
The investment property is measured at historical cost. The director is of the opinion that this is not materially different from its fair value.
2.4. Taxation
Income tax expense represents the sum of the tax currently payable.
The tax currently payable is based on taxable profit for the year. Taxable profit differs from profit as reported in the statement of comprehensive income because of items of income or expense that are taxable or deductible in other years and items that are never taxable or deductible. The company's liability for current tax is calculated using tax rates that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the reporting period.
Current tax is recognised in profit or loss for the year, except when it relates to items that are recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity, in which case current tax is recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.
2.5. Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash at bank.
2.6. Trade and other creditors
Trade and other creditors are initially recognised at fair value and thereafter stated at amortised cost using the effective interest method unless the effect of discounting would be immaterial, in which case they are stated at cost.
3. Average Number of Employees
Average number of employees, including directors, during the year was: 2 (2024: 2)
