1 Company information
Joy Group Ltd is a private company registered in England and Wales. Its registered number is 15324143. The company is limited by shares. Its registered office is Dqf Advisors Limited - Regus, Unit 115-119, Birmingham, West Midlands, B24 9FE.
2 Accounting policies
Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” including the provisions of Section 1A “Small Entities” and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historic cost convention.
Going concern
In preparing these financial statements, the director has assessed whether there are any material uncertainties related to events or conditions that cast significant doubt upon the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. In making this assessment, the director takes into account all available information about the future which is at least 12 months from the date that the financial statements are authorised for issue.
The director considers that the company has adequate resources to continue in business for the foreseeable future and that it is appropriate to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.
Exemption from preparation of consolidated financial statements
The financial statements contain information about Joy Group Ltd as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements.

During the year the average number of employees was 1 (2024 - 1).

Wing Sze Sylvia Chan is the director and shareholder of the company. During the period the director provided loans of £350 to the company. As at the balance sheet date, the company owed the director £10,222 (2024 £9,872), which is shown in other creditors due within one year. The above balance is payable on demand and therefore there are no significant differences between the value of the original loan amount and the initial carrying value of the loan as shown in the balance sheet. Joy Property Portfolio Ltd is the subsidiary of the Company Ltd. During the period the company provided loan of £5,960 to the Joy Property Portfolio Ltd. As at the balance sheet date, the Joy Property Portfolio Ltd owed the company £7,960 (2024 £2,000), which is shown in other debtors due within one year. The above balance is payable on demand and therefore there are no significant differences between the value of the original loan amount and the initial carrying value of the loan as shown in the balance sheet
