Provided a dedicated maker facility, accessible to members 24/7, known as Bristol Hackspace. The community benefited as members accessed workspace, tools and equipment that they could not otherwise access. Started considerable expansion of these facilities to enable more space, tools and equipment to be available to more people. Facilitated open and free sharing of knowledge, skills and innovation between members, and between members and the wider community. We provided means for our members to organise community events focussed on science, technology, engineering and art. Fostered creative innovation by providing access to space and resources to help members explore turning an idea into a business.
The company’s stakeholders consist of members of the company. General meetings of members were held on 12/12/2024, 14/01/2025, 20/02/2025, 08/04/2025, 08/06/2025 and 14/10/2025. Proposals on alterations to our terms and conditions, improvements to our maker facility and purchasing equipment were discussed and voted on by the members present. The Directors of the company have enacted the results of every vote as directed by our members.
