During the financial year, MMH Men's Mental Health CIC benefited the community by maintaining and developing a free UK information and signposting platform for men, their families and supporters. The platform made information about men's mental health, treatment options, urgent-help routes, external support organisations and local and online peer-support groups easier to find, understand and approach. The CIC also carried out awareness activity and reviewed and updated its public information and listings to improve their clarity and accessibility. This helped visitors identify external support options that may suit their circumstances. The CIC does not provide counselling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention or direct support.
The company's stakeholders included men using the signposting platform, their families and supporters, peer-support groups, mental health organisations, community organisations and members of the wider public. Consultation during the financial year was informal and took place through website enquiries, group-submission forms, email correspondence and engagement through public and social channels. Feedback and information supplied by stakeholders informed updates to the platform, including the review of submitted organisations and peer-support groups, corrections to listings and links, clearer presentation of group information, and improvements to public information, navigation and signposting.
