2	Accounting policies

Summary of significant accounting policies and key accounting estimates

The principal accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all the years presented, unless otherwise stated.

Statement of compliance

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 Section 1A smaller entities - 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland' and the Companies Act 2006 (as applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime).

Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Going concern

The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.

Revenue recognition

Turnover consists of maintenance fees and levies payable for the year by the residents of Claire Court.

3	Employees and Directors

The average number of persons employed by the company (including directors) during the year, was 5 (2024 - 5).

The company employs no staff other than the directors and company secretary. They receive no remuneration for their services other than a fee of £100 (2024 - £100) paid to the chairman.

4	Loss before tax

The 2024 liability to corporation tax was in respect of interest income.

For 2025, the amount of interest income is too low to create a corporation tax liability.
